(2015-01-14) Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals plans to build ethylene project Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals (SKPC) chairman Ahmed Helmy said the company received an initial approval from the ministry of investment to build a new project to produce ethylene with a total cost of $600 million.
The new project is targeting a production of 200,000 tons of ethylene annually, Helmy added, saying Sidi Kerir is looking into the proper financing tool.
Helmy told daily AlBorsa newspaper Sidi Kerir targets to establish the project in Port Said governorate, but still choosing a plot of land for the project based on standards.
